Make it a Vibe

There’s no short supply of tasks to get done in life. When I prompt my onboarding clients to sketch up what their “ideal routine” would be, it rarely includes the monotonous. Even still, activities that do make the list such as grocery shopping, cooking, and working out can all start to feel like Groundhog Day at some point. Just another thing to get through in order to have fun again.

Although that’s a very normal and cyclical feeling we’re all prone to from time to time, I encourage my clients to unlock a new level by nailing down their day to day rhythm and then vibing it up a bit. Structure serves as a container for the day to day, opening up your brain space for all the little textures and pleasures life has to offer.

Vibration boosters

  1. Music music music. Music while you shop, music while you cook, music while you walk, music while you bathe. Never too much music.

  2. Call your people. Chores, walking, and cooking are prime chatting activities since your brain will go on autopilot while you connect with your people.

  3. Light a candle. Soothing lighting is important to our nervous system. Bring in mood lighting while you cook, clean, work, and do your skincare routine (especially for those who regularly obsess over their skin in the mirror, stop doing that).

I specialize in helping build out your ideal routine with clarity and functionality. Read about my health coaching or reach out to learn more.
